Services Tuesday for Elza M. Harford, 87
Elza M. Harford, 87, a lifelong resident of Linn county, died early Sunday in a Cedar Rapids nursing home.
Mr. Harford was born May 7, 1873, on a farm north of Marion. Before entering the nursing home he had resided at 898 Twenty-fifth st., Marion.
Surviving are 2 sons, Richard M., of Martelle, and Bert E., of Marion; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Porter, Cedar Rapids; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Services: Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Murdoch chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Charles Moore. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery, Marion. Friends may call at the chapel.
