Adelaide Carver, 84, Dies in Nursing Home
Mrs. E. Adelaide Carver, 84, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday in a nursing home at Robins.
Born Dec. 21, 1864, near Robins, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac N. Kramer, she had spent her entire life in this community. She worked for many years before her marriage in the floral store operated by her father on Marion boulevard. She was married to William E. Carver Feb. 10, 1927, at Marion. He died Aug. 23, 1934. She was a member of the Marion Seventh Day Church of God.
Surviving are a nephew, Harry V. Lund of Batavia, N.Y., two stepsons, Hubert Carver of Boyd, Texas, and Victor Carver of Arcadia, Calif.; three stepdaughters: Mrs. Myrtle Ford, Mrs. Esther VanHorn and Miss Dorothy Carver, all of Marion; 13 stepgrandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Yocom chapel at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after noon Wednesday.
