Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette Saturday October 9, 1920
Funeral of Soldier.
The body of Earl C. Nichols arrived this morning. Private funeral services will be held at the Turner chapel Sunday at 4 p.m. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. The Rev. N.P. Uhlig will officiate. The Hanford Post of American Legion will be in charge of the services at the grave. All members of the American Legion and former soldiers are requested by Commander Hanzlik to assemble at the Oak Hill gate.
