The Marion Pilot Thursday September 2, 1897
The funeral services of Mrs. Elizabeth Ryan were held at the Christian church Monday afternoon. They were conducted by her pastor, Eld. J.A. Seaton, assisted by Rev. A.H. Fraser, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Music was furnished by a quartette[sic] composed of Messrs. D.E. Voris and John Booth, jr., and Medsames J.G. Van Ness and D.E. Voris. The body was laid to rest beside that of her husband in Marion cemetery.
