Albert H. Holmes, 63, of 1005 Tenth street NW, died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at his home after an illness of seven weeks. Born June 12, 1877 in East Dubuque, Ill., he had resided in Cedar Rapids 30 years. He was formerly a crossing flagman for the North Western railroad. Surviving is his wife Selina. The body is at the Brady mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
