MABEL PERRIN KLINE DIED AT LEON SATURDAY

Mrs. Alvin Kline, formerly of Marion, died at her home in Leon Saturday evening, after a brief illness of chicken pox and infection, which developed later.
Mabel Perrin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Perrin was born in Marion May 17, 1910. When she was four years of age, her mother died and she was adopted by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Perrin, with whom she lived until her marriage to Alvin Kline, in June 1929. She attended the Marion schools, graduating with the class of '28. The couple lived for a time at North Liberty, where Mr. Kline was a teacher,later living in Marion, and but recently moved to Leon when Mr. Kline was transferred to that place by the government, by whom he is employed.
Surviving are her husband, a six-year-old daughter, Arlene Marie and an infant son, Harrison James, who is six weeks old; her grandmother, Mrs. Henry Perrin of Dixon, Ill., and her father, Scott Perrin of Pasadena, Calif. Mrs. Kline was a member of the Methodist church and the Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held today at two o'clock at the Yocom chapel. The Rev. Ralph Hall Collis[sic], pastor of the Methodist church, and Marion chapter, O.E.S., will be in charge. Interment will be made in Oak Shade cemetery.
