Death Comes After a Lingering Illness
Mabel Cluett, wife of Henry Newton Taylor, died early Saturday morning at the family home, 1260 Eleventh street, after a lingering illness. The funeral services were held from the Pingrey chapel Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Dr. Baker of the Methodist church and interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
The deceased was born in Iowa county, near Marengo, Oct. 20, 1879, and is survived by her husband, a son, George, 11, her monther, Mrs. Cluett of Cedar Rapids, seven sisters and one brother. A daughter, Catherine Margaret, died in 1913. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
