Geraldean "Geri" Lange, 88, a resident of Hiawatha Care Center, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, in the care center following a short illness. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, by the Rev. Del Bear. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie; four sisters, Pearl, Blanche, Viola and Alice; and a brother, Harry.
Geraldean was born Nov. 21, 1912, in Mount Auburn, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Mary Fox Glessner. On Feb. 14, 1930, she married Leslie Lange in Marion. He died Oct. 7, 1965. She worked at Bezdek's for 25 years, retiring in 1982. Geraldean enjoyed her morning coffee group and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards....
