Joyce L. Bolsinger, 60, of 1111 28th St., died Saturday, June 22, 2002, in her home following a sudden illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, by the Rev. Del Bear. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
{Living family members omitted for privacy}, a brother, Harold Kuebler and wife Sue Chic of Altamont, Ill; three grandsons, many nieces and nephews.
Shew as preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; and an infant son, Rodney Eugene Bolsinger.
Joyce was born Jan. 23, 1942, the daughter of Claude[sic] and Ada Oakley Kuebler, in Cedar Rapids. On June 8, 1965, she married Howard Robert Bolsinger in Cedar Rapids. He died May 19, 1998.
Joyce worked as an oral medication technician at Crestview Acres Nursing Home for 23 years, retiring in 1988. She served as secretary for her Thursday morning bowling league and as chief steward/organizer for the union at Crestview Acres.
Joyce loved the outdoors and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a wonderful friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial fund has been established in Joyce's memory.
