Mrs. Elwyn Miller Dies in Minneapolis
Mrs. Elywn L. Miller, 53, daughter of Mrs. George Reichard of Marion, died Tuesday at her home in Minneapolis.
Born Marie J. Reichard, June 2, 1904, at Marion, she received her education in Marion schools and was graduated from Coe college in 1927. She taught a year at Ogden. She was married Sept. 30, 1927, at Storm Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Miller lived at Albert City, Lake City and Maquoketa before going to Minneapolis twelve years ago.
At the time of her death, she was associate editor and circulation manager for the Grant Williams Publishing Company at Minneapolis.
She was a member of the First Congregational church at Edina, Minn., and served for many years as the church organist. She was a member of the PEO at Minneapolis and of Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and her mother, is a son, John Miller of Cambridge, Mass.
Services will be Thursday at Minneapolis. Services will also be conducted at the Murdoch chapel, Marion, Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ralph E. Baker. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery, Marion. Friends may call at the chapel Friday morning.
