Clarissa A. Griffith, 78, a resident of Fort Wayne, Ind., the past 35 years and a former resident of Marion, died Monday in the Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne following a short illness.
Born Dec. 1, 1902, at Covington, she was married to LaVern W. Griffith. Mr. Griffith died July 14, 1965. Mrs. Griffith was a member of the First Christian Church and the Eagles Lodge, both of Fort Wayne.
Surviving is a sister, Iva Barkwill of Marion.
Graveside services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, by the Rev. Wayne Greene of the Marion Christian Church. Friends may call at the Murdoch Chapel, Marion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
