Miss Anna Kruble, the oldest child of Joseph and Josephine Kruble, was born in Bohemia, Austria, on the 10th of July, 1864. When she was six years old her parents migrated to the United States and located near Tama City, in Tama county, Iowa.
On April 4, 1888, she was united in marriage to L.P. Hoebel at Blairstown, Iowa, which place has been her home since that time. To their union there were born a son, Phillip, and a daughter, Marion. She was a faithful and loving wife and mother.
After some months of failing health, she passed away at the home of her sister in Marion, Iowa, Tuesday April 11th, 1911, after a life of 46 years, 9 months and one day.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and two children, her mother, three sisters, Mrs. W.P. Flower, of Marshalltown, Iowa; Mrs. Geo. Dolejal, of Tama City, Iowa; Mrs. H.E. Reither, of Marion, and one brother, James Kruble of Vining, Iowa, besides other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reiter, conducted by Rev. L.M. Starr, pastor of the Marion Christian church. There were many beautiful floral offerings. Interment took place in Oak Shade cemetery in Marion.
