Young Wife Dies After Short Illness

Mrs. Donald Christie Dies at University Hospital at Iowa City
After an illness, which extended over a few short weeks, Mrs. Donald Christie died at the University Hospital at Iowa City last Saturday mroning at 1 o'clock, at the age of 26 years. Private funeral services were held from the J.T. Christie home Monday afternoon at 2:30. The services were conducted by Rev. Harold E Carlson of the Congregational church, and the burial was in Oak Shade cemetery.
The deceased was born in Anamosa, April 22, 1900 and beside her husband she is survived by one son, Arthur, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Osborn of DeWitt, two half-sisters, Mrs. Marshall Brebner of Cedar Rapids and Cecia [sic] Osborn of DeWitt and one half-brother, Thomas Osborn of DeWitt.
She had a wife circle of friends and was loved by all those who came in contact with her. She was a member of the Methodist church at Anamosa, where she spent her girlhood.
