FUNERAL OF MISS MABEL PERRYMAN HELD IN MARION

Funeral services for the late Miss Mabel Perryman were held at the Yocom chapel in Marion, Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Rev. C.J. Biddle, pastor of the Christian church, of which she was a member, being in charge. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery. The chapel was filled with sorrowing relatives and friends, and the many beautiful floral pieces were a tribute to her lovable character.
Mabel Esther Perryman died last Sunday afternoon, in a hospital at Mason City, as the result of heart trouble. Although she had not been in the best of health for several weeks her death came suddenly and unexpectedly.
Miss Perryman was born in Amber, April 11, 1898. She was educated in the schools of Marion, and moved to this city with her parents ?8 years ago, residing here during most of that time.
Miss Perryman was employed by The Cedar Rapids Tribune as advertising collector for over six years, resigning last July. For several months she was employed as bookkeeper and cashier for a Mason City firm.
Being of an unusual cheerful and optimistic disposition, with a kindly manner to all, she endeared herself to numerous friends and acquaintances who deeply regret her untimely demise. She was a good business woman, a tireless worker and always was held in the highest esteem by her co-workers for her many fine traits and qualities.
She is survived by three sister and four brothers, Miss Helen Perryman of Ft. Worth, Texas, who arrived here yesterday; Mrs. Ida McDonald of Center Junction; Mrs. Clara Breed of Marion; Joe, Roy and Robert of Long Beach, Calif. and Charles of Santa Ana, Calif.
