Services Saturday For Nettie Brown
Nettie Brown, 78, a lifelong resident of Marion, died Wednesday in a Marion nursing home.
Born May 30, 1885, at Marion, she was married to John Brown. Mr. Brown died at Marion Feb. 27, 1932. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and the Ladies Guild.
Surviving are four nephews.
Requiem high mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic church of Marion by the Rev. William H. Blessington. The Rosary will be recited at the Murdoch chapel in Marion at 8 p.m. Friday. Friends may call at Murdoch's after 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
