Mrs. Martin Izer Buried Wednesday

Mrs. Martin Izer died at her home in Cedar Rapids Sunday evening, and her funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Marion Free Methodist church. Rev. John Watterson officiated and burial was in Oak Shade.
The deceased was born near Anamosa Dec. 30, 1881. She was married to Martin Izer April 19, 1904. For 23 years she had been a loyal and consistent member of the Marion Free Methodist church. She is survived by her husband, and one son, Charles of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Mrs. Susie McGowan of Marion; four brothers and three sisters, H.E. McGowan, A.E. McGowan, Mrs. Thomas Cherry, Mrs. Arthur Hanson, Mrs. Carl Cunningham, Mrs. Frank Etzel, all of Marion, and William McGowan of Perry.
