Robert M. Beitz, 7-day-old son of Richard C. and Grace Ann Root Beitz, 4500 Lantern Court, Marion, died Sunday night in a Cedar Rapids hospital, where he was born Jan. 11. Survivors besides his parents include his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Beitz and Mrs. Roberta Root, all of Alburnett; and two sisters, Jenniffer[sic] Joy and Veronica Lynne, both at home.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lafayette Cemetery by the Rev. Donald Brail. There will be no visitation. The Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, is in charge of arrangements....
