Marvin L. Brewer, 69, of 301 Eighth street SW, died unexpectedly Sunday. Born May 7, 1902[sic], at Alburnett, he was married to Frances Stick Aug. 29, 1932, at Dubuque.
HE was employed as manager of credit and accounting for McKesson-Robbins until he retired in 1968. Mr. Brewer was a member of Cedar Christian church and Level Masonic lodge at Central City.
Survivors are his wife, his mother, Flora Brewer, and a brother, Lyle J., all of Cedar Rapids.
Services: Baxter chapel in Marion Wednesday at 1:30 by the Rev. Neville G. Clayton. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may contribute to the memorial fund for the Cedar Christian church if they wish. Friends may call at the chapel.
