Mrs. Emma Marie Tudeen, 48, wife of Frank Tudeen, died Monday night at her home in South Tenth street, following the second stroke of paralysis with which she was stricken Saturday night. She was born in Switzerland May 26, 1872, and came to the United States in 1894. She was married March 12, 1895 to Frank Tudeen. Nine children were born to this unions, as follows, all of whom survivie: Ben of Madrid; Roy and Vern of this city; Mrs. Blanche Lochner of Central City; Mrs. Viola Burns of near Marion; Vira, Ellen, Irene and Bertha all living at home. She also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. A.W. Bergland of Perry and Mrs. Andrew Scott of Montevideo, Minn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the fmaily home, 379 South Tenth street. The Rev. Frank Ward will be in charge and burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
