George W. Mundy Died Early Today

George William Mundy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Mundy, 1123 Ninth street, died ewarly this morning at the home, following a brief illness of pneumonia.
Mr. Mundy was born December 1, 1916 in Marion. He was married September 1, 1936 to THema Simon of Cedar Rapids. Besides his wife, he is surbibed by his father, mother, a sister, Marilyn at home, a sister, Mrs. Lesta Cole of Central City, and two brothers, Marvin, of Cedar Rapids, and Warren of Marion. He was employed on the Elmer Burr farm near Walker.
Funeral services will be held at the Yocom chapel Saturday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of the Rev. R.N. Coolige of Cedar Rapids. Interment will be made in the Oak Shade cemetery.
