MRS. SARAH LEWIS FOUND DEAD IN BED
Heart Trouble, Brought on by Acute Indigestion, is Given as Cause of Death.
-----------------------
Mrs. Sarah Jane Lewis, wife of W.G. Lewis, 209 B avenue, was found dead in bed at 10:30 Sunday morning, the cause of death being heart trouble caused by acute indigestion. Mrs. Lewis worked nights at the Jewel restaurant. She returned home as usual Sunday morning and intended to go into the country but the extreme cold kept her at home. She was alone in the house. During the forenoon she became ill and asked a neighbor to call her daughter, who was away, and when they returned she was dead.
Mrs. Lewis was born June 11, 1853, in Ohio and was married to Charles Beeson who passed away May 28, 1887. On May 1, 1911, she was married to Mr. W.G. Lewis of New York City. Besides her husband she is survived by four children: Mrs. Emma Bolzinger, Mrs. Mary Baker, Fred and Charles Beeson, all of this city. The funeral will be held at the Turner chapel at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Rev. F.K. Ward officiating. Interment will be in Linwood cemetery.
