Mrs. Leo B. Geesaman, 47, of 5311 Center Point road NE, a lifelong resident of Marion and Cedar Rapids, died at 2:10 p.m. Thursday in a Cedar Rapids hosptial following a sudden illness. The former Marian Mann, she was born June 24, 1901, at Marion and was married to Mr. Geesaman on June 26, 1923, at Cedar Rapids.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, John Douglas and Robert Leo Geesaman, all of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Raymond Mann, of Cedar Rapids; four sisters, Mrs. Viola Jack of Marion; Mrs. Ruth Craemer and Mrs. Bernice Grafton, both of Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Mable Hendryx of Vinton, and two grandchildren.
She was a member of Central Park Presbyterian church and supterindendent of the junior department of the church's Sunday school, and a member of Service circle of the King's Daughters.
Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Central Park Presbyterian church by the Rev. Allan E. Schoff. Burial will be in Shiloh cemetery. Friends may call at the Turner chapel until 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
