Merle Austin Jordan, 79, of Rogers, Ark., widow of Albert Raymond Jordan and a former Cedar Rapids resident, died Tuesday.
Born June 3, 1885, near Marion, she was married in 1908. Her husband died in 1962. The couple lived in Linn county until moving to Arkansas eight years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harley Simon of Rogers; one son, John C. of St. Louis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services: Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Christ church, Rogers.
