Rites Set Wednesday For Harlan Dye, 70
Harlan A. "Had" Dye, 70, a resident on 1240 Fourteenth street since 1904, died at his home Monday.
Born Jan. 21, 1900 at Alburnett, he had been a representative for the Minnesota Woolen Mills Co. since 1944. He was a member of the First United Methodist church of Marion and of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Surviving is a niece, Mrs. Virgil Kellogg of Des Moines.
Services: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Murdoch chapel in Marion, conducted by the Rev. Lloyd C. Kellams. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery, Marion. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may contribute to the Linn county chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
