Othol Wright died at his home near Springville, about 11 miles from Central City on Wednesday, February 9, 1955, at about midnight, at the age of forty-five years. He had been hospitalized previously for about three weeks but had returned home on Sunday apparently improved in health and had spent the evening with his family, just previously to his sudden death a few hour later.

He was married to Velma Bachman on August 26th, 1933 and they had made their home in Central City and the Springville community since, he having been a lifetime resident of Linn County.

His wife, Velma, survives him with a daughter, Doris Kay and son, Robert. His mother and four sisters and four brothers also survive.

Services were conducted in the Federated Church in Central City.

Those from this vicinity who attended the funeral services last Saturday afternoon, Feb. 12th, were Mrs. Alvena Bachman, Mrs. Emma Peters, Mr. and Mrs. Art Peters, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bachman, Mrs. Irma Bachman, Mrs. Gusta Hockman, Mrs. Edward Griem, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kleppe, Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Kintzel and Mrs. Emma Kintzel, all of Clarence; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hansen of Lowden and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kreinbring of Tipton.
