Mrs. Orrie C. Olney, 211 Fifteenth street, SE, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids and vicinity, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 5:55 p.m. Friday following a brief illness. SHe was born Oct. 30, 1874.
Surviving are a son, James O. Olney and a grandson, Richard J. Olney, both of Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Olney was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church, the Tourists club, Ameigo [sic] club of Marion, and the College club. She was on the board of the Home for Aged Women.
Services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by Rev. D.A. Loferski and Dr. H. Hughes Dill. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery at Marion. Friends may call at the chapel until 1 p.m. as the casket will not be opened at the service.
