MRS. IRVINE WYNE DIES IN DOUGLAS, WYOMING
Mrs. Harlow H. Wyne, age 23 and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Courtney, 1710 Bever avenue, died at her home in Douglas, Wyo., early Tuesday, according to word received by the parents here today.
Miss Irvine Courtney was born in Linn county on the old Courtney homestead near Springville, where she lived for eleven years. Moving to New Hampton she lived there for five years and then moved to this city with her parents during her junior year in high school. Following her graduation from Washington high school she entered Coe college and studied elocution for two years. Following this she entered the kingergarten training school in Oberlin, Ohio.
During her senior year at Oberlin she was asked by her instructor to fill a position in Douglas, Ohio [sic]. This she did and while there became acquainted with Harlow H. Wyne. Later she returned to Oberlin and was graduated. During the following year she returned to Douglas and married Mr. Wyne on Nov. 1, 1918.
The surviving relatives are her father and mother, three sisters, Lola, Geraldine and Gracia and two brothers, Herbert and Jack, jr., all of this city.
The body will be brought her Thursday and funeral services will be held from the family home at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. A.M. Jayne will officiate and burial will be made at Marion.
