Ethel Leone Courtney, 81, of 1177 Ninth avenue died Tuesday at her home.
Born Aug. 2, 1882 in Marion, she was married to M.W. Courtney Aug. 25, 1915. Mr. Courtney died July 7, 1931, in Marion. Mrs. Courtney was a member of the First Methodist church, the Sorosis and Klatter clubs, and served as matron of Marion chapter 183, O.E.S., in 1920. She also was a member of Lorraine circle, past matrons, OES.
Survivors are a brother, Burl Frager of Buffalo, Ia.
Services: Thursday at 1 p.m. in Murdoch chapel by the Rev. Lloyd C. Kellams. Burial: Oak Shade. Friends may, if they wish, contribute to the Methodist church building fund. Friends may call at the chapel
