LeRoy John, the infant son of LeRoy and Daisy Bowman Jayne, of the Blairs' Ferry road died Saturday, May 27th, at 4:30 p.m., after living in this world but a day. Besides his grieving parents, he is survived by Mr. and Mrs. John E. Jayne, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Bowman, grandparents, of Cedar Rapids, and by one brother, Edward T. Robertson and three sisters, Ila Mae, Sharon Lee and Nancy Kay Jayne, all at home.
Funeral services were conducted at the grave by Rev. A.W. Henke, pastor of the Marion Methodist church, Monday at 2:30 o'clock. Burial was in Oak Shade.
