Harry L. Jayne, a lifelong resident of the Marion vicinity, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 26, at University hospitals in Iowa City.
He was born the son of John E. and Alice Hayes Jayne, on Oct. 20 1893, at Marion.
Surviving are three brothers and three sisters: Bruce Jayne, of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Delber (Hazel) LaBarge of Central City; LeRoy Jayne, Donald Jay,e Mrs. Harry (Alberta) Jordan, and Mrs. Carl (Carmelita) Miller of Cedar Rapids.
Services were 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion.
Conducted by Rev. Ralph E. Baker, pastor of the First Methodist church of Marion. Interment in Oak Shade cemetery.
