Cedar Rapids-Dorothy DuChaine Baughman, 80, of Northbrook Manor Car Center, Cedar Rapids, formerly of Marion, died there, Monday, February 1, 1993. Private family graveside sevices will be held at a later ate, with inurnment at Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Arrangements will be handled by Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Snell of Marion, and Elizabeth Biggert of Prairieburg; and a sister, Ione Maze of Haines City, Florida.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Dorothy D. DeRoche.
Born the daughter of Tony and Anna Mae DuChaine Black on January 1, 1913, at Endeavor, Pennsylvania, she married Raymond "Don" Baughman on August 2, 1930, at Oil city [sic], Pennsylvania. He died January 9, 1972. Dorothy worked in retail sales for 25 years, retiring in 1975.
