NO TRACE OF LOST MAN
~
SEARCHERS DRAG RIVER FOR
ALBERT FREISINGER
~
Fisherman and others searching parties spent considerable time Thursday afternoon dragging the river at the mouth of Catfish Creek in the hope that it would be possible to find the body of Albert Freisibnger, who was believed to have drowned there Sunday night by falling from a launch. But, despite a search lasting all afternoon, not a trace of the body was found. The supposition now is that a strong current carried the body down the river that is, assuming that the man was really drowned. There are few, if any, who believe that Freisinger got out of the boat and fled the country, it being the universal theory, that he was drowned.

This news article was attached to his memorial. Mr. Albert Freisinger is buried in Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, Iowa.
