William G. “Bill” Kysely, Died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1996, in St Luke”s Hospital,
Cedar Rapids after a long illiness. Services; 10:30 A.M. Friday, Teahen
Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, when friends may call from 2 to 8 p.n. Thursday and
after 9:30 a.m. Friday. Burial: Palo Cemetery. Survivors include his wife,
Virginia: two daughters and their husbands. Judy and Joe Dlouhy and Shirley and
Ross Bleeker , all of Palo: and two granddaughters, Corri and Robyn Dlouhy.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Christine Kysley, a
daughter Jeanne Marie, and a sister, Elma.

Born Aug. 30, 1912, in Morse he married Virginia Swallom on March 18, 1944
Cedar Rapids. He farmed in his early years and later drove truck for Killians
and Merchant’s Delivery for more than 20 years, retiring in 1974. His interest
included woodworking people-watching from his porch and his three cats.

Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial fund has been established.
