CENTER POINT -- Mrs. Nellie Louisa Berry, 65, widow of James Berry, died at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids Tuesday night. She was married Sept. 25, 1890, to James Berry, who died Jan., 3, 1940. She lived her entire life in the Center Point, Urbana and Walker community. Four children survive Mrs. Berry. They are Mrs. Inez Haines of Brandon, Mrs. Oro McQuitty and Leland Berry of Walker, and Mrs. Maxine Chamberlain of Center Point. She also leaves a brother, Charles Waddle of Vinton; a sister, Mrs. Matilda Derby of Center Point, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services well be held in the Christian church at Center Point, of which she was a member, at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. M. D. Swisher will be in charge with burial at Urbana.
