Laborer Shot To Death
Petrolus Mamois Believed To Have Been Slain By Nephew
Cedar Rapids, Iowa-August 10, 1909
The police are searching for Frank Gight, accused of murdering his uncle, Petrolus Mamois, and robbing the body of $100. The men were section hands and were seen walking out of town, shooting at telephone poles. Mamois’ body was found with three bullet holes through the abdomen, his pockets turned inside out and his money missing.
