LINN COUNTY – Lisbon. - A large passenger and freight depot has recently been erected at Lisbon, on the line of the Chicago, Iowa and Nebraska Railroad, and Messrs. Goodrich & Son, keepers of the excellent New York House, have put up an eating-house, at which passengers get a first-rate meal for thirty-five cents. Two large, well-built and painted warehouses have sprung up near the depot, and a brisk business is doing in the produce line. A Lutheran church, constructed of brick, has just been enclosed, and the Catholics are preparing to build one. Noble L. Barner, Esq., the only lawyer in Lisbon, has recently removed thither from Sabula, Jackson County. Business has been lively there for two months past.
