Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette, October 13, 1896.
Mrs. MARGARET DONAHUE, who has been a well-known resident of this city for the past thirty years, leaves tonight for Chicago, where she will make her future home with her two daughters, the Misses MARGARET and LYDIA DONAHUE, who have been popular teachers in the Cedar Rapids public schools for years and are now holding responsible positions in the public schools of Chicago. The departure of Mrs. Donahue is regretted by her many friends, and that she and her talented daughters may meet with prosperity and happiness in their new home is the wish of all.
