PROMOTED

Mr. A. L. McFerson formerly a student of Western College, has been promoted to the office of Captain-and is now out West raising a company. He is a patriotic young man, and fought like a tiger at the Battle of Wilson's Creek, where he was slightly wounded, but has recovered.
