Mrs. George Sugars, 85, mother of Roy Sugars, former resident of this community, died March 7, (1948) at her home near Nauvoo, Ill. Surviving are her husband and eight of her 10 children, three of whom live in Lee County: Roy at Denmark, Mrs. Lulu Breitbarth of Franklin and Mrs. Louis Ritter, Fort Madison. Deceased and her husband had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary, Feb. 21, at the farm home where they had resided during their entire married life.
