At the residence of his wife's parents, Dr. and Mrs. B.F.Bailey, 1104 Blondeau street, occurred the death of Courtland Skinner at 12 o'clock noon today. The deceased had been ill for some time and was brought to Dr. Bailey's home one week ago Sunday. He was thirty-eight years of age at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, who was at his bedside when he died, father and mother, two sisters and four brothers. He was a man of sterling qualities and was beloved by all who knew him.
