Mrs. A. C. Davis, sister of Rollin J. Hopkirk of Ft. Madison, Ia. was killed yesterday. Her husband is superintendent of schools at Yakima, Washington. She married Mr. Davis here several years ago. She is survived by her husband and a brother in Ft. Madison, Ia. and by 1 daughter and by 2 other brothers - Dr. Clarence Hopkirk, of Seoul, Korea and by Howard Hopkirk, of Hastings on the Hudson, New York.

Further details on the death of Mrs. A. C. Davis, the former Miss Jessie Hopkirk in a auto accident. A car she was riding in was hit by a train near Ellesburg, Washington last Tuesday. A party of 4 was in the car. Miss Clebric? Gage, age 19, who was living with the Davis's was instantly killed. Rev. Charles H. Davis, age 75,.father-in,law of Mrs. Davis and Marletta, her 5 yr. old daughter were in the car. Her daughter was not injured.- Mrs. Davis is not expected to live. They were on a Tuesday 4th of July outing when the crash occurred. Mrs. Davis was aged 35 yrs.
