Most of Her Life There.

The funeral of Miss Lillian Margaret Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey, was held at the family residence near Belfast, Sunday morning, July 23.

Miss Bailey was born in Clark county, Missouri, November 1, 1896, and lived there with her parents until about six years of age, when they moved to Iowa. She received her education in public schools of this vicinity and resided here until the past year, which she spent in Des Moines, Iowa.

There she pursued and completed a course in dressmaking. Having returned home in March, she reamined (*remained) there until called by death.

About four years ago she united with Bethel A. M. E. church and had lived as a consistent christian since.

Those who survive her are her mother and father, one sister, Mrs. V. Olive Phillips, 1802 Palean street; and six brothers, Oliver E. Bailey, of Fort Madison, Iowa; Harry J. Bailey, George E. Bailey, Theodore R. Bailey, Vernon L. Bailey, Lawrence H. Bailey, all of whom reside at home, and tyo (*two) uncles, George A. Fowler, of Belfast, and Louis R. Fowler, of Stroud, Oklahoma.
