Alfredo Lozano, 80, 3101 Avenue O, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday June 20, in Sacred Heart Hospital. Death terminated a lengthy illness.

Mr. Lozano was born March 27, 1893 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. He had lived in Fort Madison 60 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

On Aug. 2, 1915, in Fort Madison he married Eulalia Castillo, who survives.

Also surviving are six sons, Leopold, Carlos, Rito, Manuel, Angelo and Raymond, all of Fort Madison; three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Shirley) Velasquez and Mrs. Larry (Angelina) Galvan, both of Chacago, and Mrs. Reuben (Virginia( Ponce, Galesburg, Ill; a brother Augustine Lozano, Los Angeles, and 43 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

His parents were Donaciano and Tomasa Martinez Lozano.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart church. The Rev. Joseph P. Hines will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery.

The body is at Nieters Chapel where the parish Christian Wake Service will be at 7:00 Friday evening.
