The death of Mrs. Timothy Boyle occurred at 5 O'clock Friday morning at her home in Galland. She was formerly Miss Ellen Loftus and was born in Miltown, Galway, Ireland, fifty-six years ago. She was married in Miltown to Timothy Boyle on June 18, 1863. She lived for a short time in Keokuk, but for twenty-five years past she has resided in Galland. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Montrose, and lived an exemplary life. Her marriage was blessed with thirteen children of whom six survive her: John Boyle, Miss Kate Boyle, Mrs. J. E. Connors of Burlington, Edward Boyle, Miss Johanne Boyle, Tomothy Boyle, Jr. These with her loving husband have the sympathy of many friends. Two grandchildren, four sisters and one brother also survive her.
