Jennie Andrews
Former Argyle resident, Jennie Andrews, 97, died Saturday, April 11 at the West Point Care Center.
She was born Feb. 9, 1890, at Charleston to Lewis and Isadora Alston Lawson. She married Reuben Andrews, June 11, 1909, at Fort Madison.
Mrs. Andrews spent most of her life in the Charleston and Argyle communities. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by a son, Lowell E. Andrews of Fort Madison; four grandchildren; and 10 great-granchildren.
A funeral for Mrs. Andrews will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson with the Rev. Wilber Tripp officiating. Burial will be in Charleston cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
