Allen - Gaston.
On Wednesday evening at half past five o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Dr. and Mrs. Shepherd Mills Gaston, 912 Fulton street, occurred the marriage of Miss Eugenia Gaston to Mr. Herman Ellsworth Allen of Boston. The ceremony was performed under a canopy of green and white. Dr. Ezra B. Newcomb of the First Westminster Presbyterian church read the double ring service. The wedding march from Mendelssohn was played by Miss Olive Morgan. The bride wore a very handsome gown of white embroidered net over satin and carried a shower boquet of lillies of the valley. Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served the twenty-six guests. The young people left on the evening train for Chicago. They will be at home after November 20 at 329 North Fourth street. Among the out of town guests were Mrs. Joseph Harper Allen of Boston, and Mrs. F. B. Carr of Kirksville, Mo.
