Newspaper Clipping-Wray-Shaw Nuptials in Montrose Church

MONTROSE.-Miss Sandra Jean Shaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John William Shaw, and James Charles Wray, son of Mrs. James C. Wray, all of Montrose were married at 4 p.m. Saturday Feb 18. (1956) The Rev. G.W. Stump read the double ring ceremony in the Methodist church here. Two large baskets of white gladioli adorned the altar.

Mrs. Doris Beggs played nuptial music and accompanied Lewis Fowler, who sang "Through the Years"

A reception followed in the Shaw home, where dinner was served the bridal party and immediate families at 6 o'clock. A tiny bridal couple topped the three tiered wedding cake.

Mr. and Mrs. Wray, 1954 graduates of the Montrose high school, live at 212 1/2 N. Eighth street, Keokuk, where he is employed by G.W. Rowe and Son
