--J. R. Simmers of Ottumwa and Anna H. Carman of Keokuk were married yesterday by J. A. Whetstone, justice of the peace. The groom is an employee of the Morrell company at Ottumwa. After a week spent here he and his bride will return to Ottumwa where they will reside.

--Walter Crawford of Dallas City, Ill., and Bessie Grace Wilson of Keokuk were united in marriage yesterday by J. A. Whetstone, justice of the peace. They left for Dallas City last night. Mr. Crawford is a prominent fish merchant there.
