Typhoid Fever Ended the Life of Lucy
Mullin, Eleven Year Old Daughter
of Texas Man.
____

A particularly sad death this morning at 1 o'clock was that of Lucy Mullin, the eleven year old daughter of John Mullin of Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away at St. Joseph's hospital after a long seize of typhoid fever.

She came to Brighton, Iowa, during the early summer to visit relatives and later contracted the fever. She was removed to this city October 1.

Burial took place this afternoon, the body being interred in Oakland cemetery.

The surviving relatives are her father, and a brother, Earl.
