WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8, 1899

A quiet but very pretty wedding occurred Tuesday evening, the 28th ult., at 5:00 o'clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Lockwood on Fourth street. Mr. Frank Culp was married to Miss Bessie Palmer. The simple and impressive ceremony was read in the presence of a few invited guests by Rev. C. J. Pope, which made them husband and wife. The company then sat down to a delightful wedding supper, served by Mrs. Lockwood. A number of valuable and useful gifs (*gifts) were received, among them a deed to the old family homestead on Fifth street, presented to the bride by Mr. Lockwood.
